- Location-Aventura, Fl.
- Cuisine- Brooklyn Italian
This is a special thank you review to John the chef and Lilly the hostess who invited the Gagits to their house for the M family Easter dinner. This is a second family Easter dinner and based on our first experience , we knew enough not to eat breakfast that morning or even dinner the night before, lol. As soon as we enter we are greeted by Chef John and of course led to the beautiful Lanai for our first glass of red wine , with ice of course ,and we wait and chat as the family and guests arrive. It is not to long before all are present and accounted for and the Easter feast begins.
John brings out the appetizers, lobster tail, juicy lamb chops, and a tomato mozzerella salad, shown above that even tastes better than it looks. We try not to eat to much here because the best is yet to come and come. And, the main course arrives served proudly by Chef John, homemade lasagna made not only fresh by John but with love and care see picture above of the portion enough to serve the whole Condinium.I think I ate the first portion with one gulp it was so good,Lilly of course was ready to serve me another portion so I would not be hungry for days.rofl
John asks if we were still hungry he can serve a Filet, are you serious John,I am stuffed but Lilly has another surprise, Juniors strawberry cheesecake from Brooklyn and chocolate caramel apples and coffee , what a way to end the perfect meal.
Let the Truth Be Told, there are many Italian restaurants in South Florida , Zagat rated but none have lasagna like Johns and none have Lilly to look over at you to make sure you have had enough, Zagat eat your heart out, your not invited here.
