After being away for the Sunday PIG, Gagit and Foodiechic needed to have their pig fix. I take 2 Crestors and call Dr. Agaston to be on alert,and head for El Palacio,shown above,,where Chef Jugos has pig everyday and everyway.I will show the pictures of the choices and the many choices we had to bring back to the office for our pig fest. I did not have my camera so the camera phone has to do even though the quality is not the highest standard to show this delicious and healthly food.lol
We start off of course with the Plantain chips, fried fresh as shown.The next appetizer is a highlight dish, chicharons,shown in the oven and ready to eat,along with corn tamales. The mains next,Pig meat with skin and all,pig smothered in onions, and pig ribs wow.Next the sides, Yuca with pig meat, Imperial rice, really a main and of course ,congri rice, not shown but a perfect blend of the beans and rice.Dessert,only the best, plaintain with cinammon.The lunch for 10 , $100 with plenty to take home for all.
Let the Truth be Told, Chef Jugos is there everyday serving Pig his way , which is everyway, fresh and cooked to perfection.This is Miami at its finest and should be enjoyed by all residents even the illegal ones that make up a big part of the customer base. Viva Jugos .
